[Haru herself's got a bit of blood on her, but that's only from the rats she mercilessly destroyed. Not only did she hate rats, but it was also to protect Apollo; she knows he doesn't really have any means to defend himself.

Now they're here, a decrepit train that's definitely seen better days. At Apollo's question, Haru gives him a reassuring smile.]

We've come this far, haven't we? We might as well see where the tunnel's led us!

(apollo is pointedly ignoring the small amounts of blood on haru, because thinking of how it got there is simply not the kind of thing he'd like to dwell on.

he's also pretty sure it's animal cruelty, but again, not gonna go there. at all.

he's clutching the straps of his backpack tightly, realizing maybe too late that what's inside may not actually serve much use if this is what they're dealing with. his face says just how he feels about going deeper into the murder-scene tunnel, but he follows haru regardless.) (apollo would gladly humor and tell nazuna that, yes, he is in fact calm. despite apollo being able to think of multiple times where nazuna has failed to be just that in a stressful situation.

yes, he means during christmas.

it was only for a moment, a split second, but apollo swears he saw someone's tits. there was a blur of cute fur, but for the most part, apollo sees tits. coupled with nazuna's bright face and impossible to miss reaction, he very hesitantly taps his friend on the shoulder.) ... Nazuna?

[ for all of the fuss that was the summer, nazuna can barely believe he forgot his best friend.

right now, he's really thankful everything's come back, again. he needs to go--somewhere. do something. something that is not his apartment at the moment, not school.]

(once it comes back to him that nazuna is his best friend, and he forgot him for weeks, apollo is hit with a crushing sense of loneliness. he'd never quite been sure about how to bring it up with nazuna, even though they were both more than aware it was neither of their faults.

so the sudden text is a welcome surprise, and even apoll feels excitement and joy for once in his woe-is-me life. yes. apollo justice feels a positive emotion.)
